Happily ever after isn't cheap!

Ok, I'm stressed. My wedding is going to cost me $22,000!!!!

Well, actually I got it down to about $18,700, but still. Oh man. I was hoping for about 16-17. I guess I'm not that far off.

Well I am a little worried. I dropped a lot of the flowers and such, but I still don't feel like that is enough!! Ah! I am going to attach my budget and see if I can get any opinions, ok? Eeeeeeek.

Here is what I cut so far:
Boutonnieres for all except Erik
Flower girl baskets since Cori bought me one. Haha.
Corsages
Ceiling draping
Floral for the centerpieces
Mickey ear favors for bridal party. [I'm gonna buy them myself. MUCH easier.]

I am thinking about dropping the floral above the gazebo, but I love it so much. =/ I have no idea. Help?

  1. Ok first... I LOVE your header, that was one of my favorite shots from the engagement pictures. You look so gorgeous!I love love love it.

As for this wedding, What is there left to cut out? Because maybe there is more that you can cut that we friends can make or something, you know? I dont know everything you added, I just remembered the basics in the beginning, but there are touches that can be added by friends or family, def talk to all of us, because Cori is doing something, Im sure everyone less, including me would love a job to help you get this down but also give you the wedding of your dreams. Dont be afraid to ask us Lace...We want you guys to have the best day.

Honestly, Im kinda of sad at the list that is now gone... the draping, and stuff? sad times. Freaking Weddings, I dont know ONE person that actually has spent their budget, it creeps up on you like crazy.

    Let us know!!

  2. We spent $22,000 on our wedding, even though our initial savings was right under $10,000 and we were really shooting for $15,000! That being said, we absolutely, positively, wouldn't change what we did for the world. It was exactly the wedding we wanted and worth every penny!

You can see a breakdown of what we spent here: http://budgetdisneywedding.blogspot.com/2009/05/cost-of-disney-wedding.html
