Greetings world!!
As most of you know, I am planning my Disneyland wedding, which will be held in October of 2009. This blog is being created to show you my ideas, give suggestions, and get suggestions from others!
Here is some background info... My name is Lacey, I am currently 21, and engaged to Erik Sosa, 24, the most wonderful man in the world. We are both huge Disney nuts, and visit Disneyland frequently.
On October 1, 2008, after much persistence from my end, he proposed to me during a dinner at Tortilla Joe's. My ring is amazing. It is a 1.05 caret princess-cut solitaire set in 18k white gold. [Sorry, but I love bragging about it... I'll stop now.] Our wedding has been consuming our lives lately, but it's easily the most enjoyable thing I have ever done. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Right now I am working on some centerpiece ideas. We are naming the tables after Disney characters, obviously, so I have a lot of options. I think I am going to buy those little figurines in the Disney Princess Shoppe with the couples, and use those. Ideas??? I'm so lost. Haha. I'm also trying to finish compiling our guest list, which is quite a daunting task! I need to get my save the date announcements sent out fairly soon!!
Anyways, we had our engagement photos done about a month or so ago, by Joe Lumaya, who is awesome. Any girl who wants Disney photos done right needs to google this guy. Here are a couple of my favorites:
